Many vinyl records have been digitally mastered since the late 1970s, but since people just assume that if it's somewhat vintage then it must be 100-percent analog, those records are listened to and enjoyed without judgement.

As with anything, it comes down to the amount of care taken all down the line. Even some of the public domain vinyl pressings being released in Europe using digital sources sound really good. Most just sound OK, however.
