Ed, be sure to let us know your impressions...

Hi, Ed,
I'm really curious to hear what you think of the Liberty Audio B2B-1 in comparison with your PH-1P. The B2B-1 caught my attention when Fremer reviewed it back in 2012 and has been on my list of potential replacements for my PH-1P when the time comes. (I'm not in any hurry; hopefully it keeps running for a while.)

One of the things I like about the B2B-1 is the use of jumpers to vary the loading on a LOMC cartridge. The potential combinations are impressive:

57,60,67,77,83,100,104,132,153,199,220,330,500

Not as versatile as the resistor slots on the PH-1P but a good selection nonetheless. And according to Liberty Audio's website you can order custom loading options.

Regards,
Tom
