Have you tried the Classic reissue of Foxtrot? I bought all of that series and don't regret it. I had other versions of all except Foxtrot so I can't make a direct comparison, but the rest were better than the domestic issues I have, though the Japanese Lamb, and British Selling are very good. Nursery Cryme was way better than the Buddah and Charisma issues I have.
Anyway I am a big fan of Foxtrot, I even love Can Utility, which a lot of people consider weak. And Suppers Ready, is just amazing. Also I had no pressing problems or surface noise on the Classics, though I hear that there are problems with the Gabriel solo albums by Classic.
