RE: Well, it's not the springs...

The chassis weights are in place and I'm assuming that they ARE correct; the chassis weights are stock with each Gyro SE and it's the tonearm mounting plates that are customized for each tonearm.

I'm using dean man jim's idea and taking my tonearm to get weighed with a digital postage scale tomorrow. That way I'll have verified measurements of tonearm weight to put all the pieces together.

And perhaps tomorrow Artech Electronics or Michell Engineering will reply to my email from yesterday.

I'll let you know what I find out.
