I've never owned a Shelter cartridge but I had the baby cousin to your Reflex M. I had the Graham Slee Era Gold V MM phono coupled with a CineMag SUT and it was truly wonderful sounding.
I also had the Rogue Ares tube phono, which just happens to use CineMag SUTs inside. And it too was a wonderful sounding phono. Overall, I liked it better than the Aesthetix Rhea which was very flexible but costs a lot more than the Slee or Rogue. The Rhea sounds nice but it's a little 'darker' vs the others.
The Slee MM phono actually sounds BETTER with the SUT than their own 'head-amp' also shown in the photo below. I no longer have the Slee but I recall it being one of the better phonos in my past... especially with the SUT!
My Graham Slee Era Gold V, Slee Elevator EXP, and Bob's Device CineMag SUT. The SUT won the 'shootout'
