Unfortunately, I can't find any information on your tonearm as far as effective length and mounting distance. However, I believe the best alignment for all tonearms incorporates alignment null-point radii of 66-mm and 120.89-mm. Therefore, I would recommend trying one of "The Stupid Protractors" with those alignment null-points. If your cartridge cannot be moved far enough forward in the headshell slots to accommodate that alignment, your next best bet is the "Stevenson Alignment Protractor" right below it on the Vinyl Engine webpage. One of those two protractors will undoubtedly work nicely with your Yamaha tonearm.Good luck,
John ElisonEdit: I agree wholeheartedly with Cuernavaca's recommendation of Conrad Hoffman's arc protractor template. It is probably the best and most accurate free protractor available. However, you need to get an accurate measurement of your tonearm's mounting distance in order to achieve the best results with Conrad Hoffman's arc protractor. Then I recommend using IEC inner and outer groove radii with Löfgren A null-point radii of 66-mm and 120.89-mm.
