DV 20x2 riding EXTREMELY low

I just got a DV 20x2 L from Needledoctor. At 2 grams, with a level headshell it rides so low I can't see any space between it and the record. It's either bottoming out, or coming very close to bottoming out.

Just called Needledoctor and was told that the new shape of the cartridge body might account for what I'm seeing and that I should take a picture and send it to them.

I can certainly do that, but no cartridge should ride that low regardless of the body shape, right?

Anybody else have one of these? If so, how does it look?
