I have a 401 with a nice 38lb. birch-ply plinth.I have the plinth resting directly on the top of my maple equipment rack. The top of the plinth is level and the plinth rests solidly on the 1 1/4 maple shelf below it.Is there any advantage to couple/decouple my plinth from my rack with rubber feet, spiked feet cones,or whatever else someone has dreamed up?
