I think Graham may have a patent on fixing the azimuth adjustment at the same angle as the headshell offset.

FWIW, Graham claims "true vertical pivoting of the stylus tip with no rotation as the arm is raised" for the Phantom.
I believe this would also be the case with the earlier arms as well. Since azimuth at the pivot corresponds to headshell azimuth (ie they rotate on the same angle and maintain the same relationship) lowering/raising the arm should not effect this relationship.
However the earlier arms without the 'Magneglide' stabiliser may be subject to azimuth rotation with warps (as would other true unipivots).

Worth noting that there are plenty of excellent sounding arms that don't have Graham's innovation - so I'd say any negative effect is probably minor (and possibly stylus dependent).
