Hi,
This kind of problem can have numerous causes. Your best bet is to do a logical, systematic search for the cause.
I'd first check to be sure all cables are secure--interconnects, speaker cables, etc. Are they all seated correctly and securely?
Then check each item in turn. Turn your system off when changing cables out. Reverse the speaker cables at the speakers. Does the formerly weak-sounding speaker now sound okay and the formerly strong-sounding one now sounds weak? If so, you may assume your speakers are okay and that the problem is further up the chain. Next, maybe reverse the speaker cables at the amp., etc. Within a few minutes, you can run down the component/connection that may be at fault. Sometimes a connection is not secure even though it seems to be. Just swapping out items may result in a better connection and a problem solved.
Good luck,
George
