Nick Lowe Labor of lust

Received the new reissue of Nick Lowe Labor of Lust yesterday. Packaging is impressive , quiet flat 180 gram pressing. The problem is the sound is very muffled not even AM radio quality. I put this in the same class as the Amy Winehouse back to black? record, but I can't directly compare them because I threw that one out. Oh well, I only paid $10. I just don't understand putting out a first class product with poor sound quality. I have another Nick Lowe (more recent recording) on order. Hopefully that will sound better.
