Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knows of any relatively high capacitance "pf" phono interrconnects (tonearm cables) that are well-shielded? I have figured out that the red interconnect of my Yamaha YP-701 turntable is faulty. The capacitance of the stock cables are 93pf, and I would like to find new ones that are about the same or which have a bit more capacitance. Also, has anyone ever replaced the cables on a Yamaha turntable? Is it a lot of work? I am hoping that I will not have to do any soldering or de-soldering.
Thank you for your help!
