RE: Gregg Allman's "Low Country Blues"

first of all, let me say that I don't own a copy of Low Country Blues. But I had the chance to listen to it with a friend that played with Gregg and his brother often. Phil basicly said it was exactly what he thought it would sound like from the getgo. Felt that by the third cut he was setting on the porch down in the delta listening to the blues being played right in front of him (his exact words). I also felt that there was a "dark image" implanted in my mind as well. Wether or not it was intended to be that way, I don't know. But that's how it came out with me anyway.

I didn't get this from the Plant / Krauss LP. I just didn't like that one from the start. (well it was OK, but not great) On the otherhand he did the Roy Orbison "Black & White" disc, and I got it!
