I think it would be reasonable to contact him now - I send mine in for a re-tip on April 1, and got it back in early June - so, about 10 weeks.

But, that means I sent mine in after yours, but have got it back sooner.

So, I think you are justified in confirming that he's received your cartridge, and finding if there is any special reason for delay.
