LP12+T-Kable+Jelco 250 -- The 180deg question

I have an old Akito (w/ T-kable) on my LP12 with Greenstreet klone subchassis. Have been thinking about upgrading the arm for a long time but am also taking my time doing research. It seems that for an inexpensive arm, the Jelco seems to have some good rep.

However, I have also read that there may be an orientation problem with the cabling. From what I see from the web, it appears that the T-Kable and Jelco's aftermarket L-Din cable have their pins orientated 180deg from each other (i.e. ground pin going away from the cable vs towards). I have no idea how the socket at the bottom of the Jelco is orientated. Some have mentioned that the outcome would be that the cable would ultimately be pointed right, rather than left towards the platter as it should, unless modification is made either to the T-kable or the socket on the arm.

Does anybody have first hand experience with this arm? How is it fitted? Or if needed, how are the mods made?

BTW, has anyone seen a Project 9cc Evolution (not the regular one on the Majik) on an LP12? Is it any good? Is the bearing section too tall for the Linn acrylic cover?

Many thanks.
