AEoC and Sun Ra, right on!

The Art Ensemble's Urban Bushmen (1982) is a fascinating record. Sun Ra's Reflections in Blue (1987) and After Hours (1989) are two of my favs by him
I just finished listening to another great LP from that decade, Jarret's live Nude Ants (1980).

Nice thing about much '80s jazz on vinyl: it's generally cheap and available in excellent condition. I picked up five '80s Art Pepper LPs on Galaxy for $7 each in mint condition a year ago. The playing is up there with the best he ever recorded.
