I had one on loan from a friend briefly. It totally destroyed a couple older Capitol records. It was really weird, it did not appear to leave a residue on them, but rather seemed to change the chemical composition of the vinyl, almost like it partly melted it. It didn't have any impact on any other records, but totally destroyed two older Capitols (nice Sinatra and June Christy LPs too). This was the older (pre gel) model. Weird.
Beyond that, it was a total PITA to use and had a negative impact on the sound. Other than that, great product!
