Hi,
You will always do better performance per dollar value used. The first owner always takes the hit. Usually used should go for half the average selling price so you can gett better performance for the same or less money.
Lok at the VPI HW19. It is a really good table for what you will pay. Also another good deal is usually on the Sotas. Along with the Basis they are the mainstream deals.
I'm sure the Rega is a good table but for what you will pay it seems like entry level but that's not to say some opf the entry level tabvles aren't as good as the upper models.
Once you get to a certain level of performance the gains from more expensive is usally insignificant unless you go way higher, and that is even suggestive. So, if anyone says that something blows away another, I would tell them to start seeing somebody in white coats to talk to.
