There have been many pro/con posts about the Technics SL1200 - and I suppose there always will be - but after seeing these posts on another Forum I never guessed that this venerable turntable would be suitable to actually create and not only play albums. It is being used and has been used as a cutting lathe; the apparatus is available and I expect it has done a good job.
