Nice review. At the price point, the X-LP is a good phono stage. I ran one with the upgrade power supply for about 8 monthes. My only complaint was just a small hint of harshness in the lower treble/upper mids. I ended up upgrading to a Threshold FET10 that solved that problem and does sound better albeit at a much higher cost.As far as soundstage and overall tonal balance, the X-LP is very good.
