I agree. I've never "worn out" a record. I have a few skips from wilder days and a jouncy AR table, but I have a couple of records I've played more than a thousand times (I am not exaggerating). If I played ten albums, you would not be able to pick out the ones with high usage. Why even strive for good sound if you're just going to listen to cassettes? Enjoy your LP's, they will quite possibly outlive you.
