Hi all,I have a couple of paintings by a friend of mine, each hanging just behind and above my speakers--about 18 inches above the speakers, which are (and can only be) a little more than a foot from the back wall, about two-and-a-half from the side walls.
The paintings are stretched canvas on a wooden frame, about 26 inches wide, 30 inches high, and 3 1/2 inches deep.
My question is: is there anything I might be able to 'fill' these paintings with so I could have a sort of camoflagued flat-panel treatment for absorbing mid and high range frequencies? I plan to get a pair of bass traps for the corners, but I'm wondering if this might help me in any way. So, can I do anything with these, and if so what? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
