Trying to take care of those pesky dynamics I suppose? 60uf sure would do a good job of that....Now 1uf to 3uf might be more interesting, but use a cap rated for AC use....ASC makes some oil bath ppns that are internally fused which are available from Allied Electronics....60uf sounds like a cap that would be across the line for a central air conditioning compressor or fridge to keep the noise down as these things turn on or off...
