I purchased the 12TC raw bulk cable from Aliexpress and built my own following the recipe that GR Research uses. I terminated with CMC pure Copper spades.
I absolutely love the cables. They replaced a set of Tara Labs RSC Master Gen.2's. Using them between a pair of rebuilt to stock spec Dynaco MK III's and Chapman T7 speakers.
The Tara's are great cables. I found the 12TC (I won't use the "K" name to reference them) to be overall smoother across the spectrum with more impactful bass. I also noticed the very upper treble had more air and shimmer (the T7's have a Titanium dome).
I think all in I spent less than $100 for a 9' pair. I wanted an 8' pair, but I overestimated the shrinkage from stuffing the looms with cotton rope.
