Yes it certainly would, yet as I've noticed over the last four years, many cable designers when using pure silver wiring for their IC's, often use pure copper or red copper, as well as gold plating to offset an otherwise brightest signature of the wiring less than 3-5N in purity.
No all silver cables are built the same | in my case the worst offender like ever was a pair of Harmonic Technologies Pro Silway MK ll's I had back in 2009, talk about a rather harsh and muffled sound. Had I known better I'd have invested into a pair of Acoustic Zen Silver IC's, or the then used Synergistic Research Tricon Silver Matrix IC's I replaced the HT Pro-Silway IC's with from the beginning.
