Faint buzz from active crossover

I have a small issue with my Sublime Acoustic K231 active crossover... there is a faint buzz in the (very high sensitivity, 105dB average) speakers. The buzzing gets worse if I touch the active crossover's case, or if I touch the power cable. I had the same issue with the previous power cable.
Where does this come from? There is a ground connector on the back of the crossover, would this help, and what should I connect it with?.. thanks
