How true..., yet I think in the end it was mainly because I over tightened this one particular one, which in turn made me use 4 different plated types on the speakers end | where in truth I enjoy the combination even more. As I've noticed more than a few guys using two different types of plating or un-plated AC | IEC Connectors on power cords, having now experienced this, I see why, it brings about a sense of both worlds ( favors ) if you will.
