Talk about being very disappointed | I ended up keeping the 4 on the amps side, and tossed the other 4 which were on the speakers end of things, yet it was only the one which caused me problems | I just felt I didn't want to buy another set.
Thing is, as I ended up with the Monosaudio gold plated copper ones at said amps binding post, and was curious about mixing this with a set of silver plated copper ones, the overall signature caught me off grand, in that both in tandem sort of created a hybrid sound of both platings, which in truth comes across as more to my likings...-, but then I'm one which tries to find that very very fine line between refinement | detail, and by chance that's exactly what I've discovered as my sound.
Now onto a quad set of those pure silver Viborg banana plugs | I'm done.
