Buy specification and intended use, for example, 105 C., 10,000 hour Audio, not brand. Stay within 10% of stock capacitance if possible.
Black body Nichicons are the most widely used. Film caps all sound different, electrolytics, not so much, especially as to where they're mostly used in the circuit..
