3 years or so ago, my tech told me that he had turned the bias up a bit,
and things were sounding good, i had him change all the caps also.
Since covid i got equipment together, and checked the bias and dc offset myself, i found the trans bias around 13 to 13.5 mv, and minimal dc current, i adjusted the bias back to factory settings which is 10mv, and was able to decrease the dc offest closer to zero...
things sound good to me with the channels seeming better balanced.
Thanks for your time...I habe the "Heath" electronics Course with breadboard that I have beens studying for years...finally understand where amplification comes from, i think..I could be dangerous with my sparse knowledge.
