RE: Help with Bridge Rectifier Upgrade Audiolab 6000 CDT




Yes, thanks, I'll be doing capacitors as well.

The mods to this CD transport are available as DIY kit form, or you can send the unit in to get it done. It's a company in Europe.

They build a bridge rectifier with axial diodes to replace the existing DF02M's. (pic)

In my case I picked the axial diode (edit: values that meet/exceed DF02M) pretty much because those were the only ones available from the suppliers a I order from time to time.

But maybe I should look at something more elaborate as you suggest. Though as mentioned earlier, space is limited.
