why the high PIV? Is it a tube circuit? The 1 amp rating on 2 replacements is low by 0.5a. Also you only need a 400vdc PIV according to the DF02M bridge rectifier rating.
If you want better rectifiers use some hexfreds if you can
Is this one of those 'this is so much better' mods? I'd look at the caps also.
