RE: Speaking of Graphene...

fun fact ... did you know that it's virtually impossible to prevent the oxidation of magnesium surfaces after foundry processing but once it has the oxidation process stops and it's actually protected by it as a thin layer that's fairly impermeable and very durable ... as in nearly impossible to remove ... I seem to recall that as a selling point for using the material in 'speaker' cones ... alloy for aeronautic use, bicycle frames, camera & timepiece guts ... everywhere you don't want oxidation!

the only way 'on earth' to prevent the material from oxidizing is to first clean it in a vacuum, which is extremely difficult, and then maintain it in a vacuum

so what's the graphene for?
