You are playing with the wrong toy for open baffle as Story points out. A 4" driver will never have the excursion needed to produce any meaningful bass. I doubt it would go down to 100hz without an enclosure.
You could learn Hornresp and model what you have or want to try before delving into many fruitless experiments. It would also help focus your questions.
