I don't find the Furutech GTX NCF AC outlet to be inherently bright, rather increased treble energy and a bit taller soundstage presentation compared to a gold-plated AC outlet tends to sound, but increased treble energy could come across as bright if a system may otherwise have an issue elsewhere. You'll find improved sonic benefits vs. the Porter Port, but one can't predict if the difference in sonic signatures is what you might seek, all things considered, Red.
