They work very well-I have used them in several cd players and the ringing one gets when you tap the metal is gone. I have also tried dynamat on the chassis but did not like the sound-everything became bloated and less clear. If using inside of a warm piece of equipment (like an amplifier) these are a no brainer. And they are inexpensive!
