Yes I think there is some trial and error needed. Maybe Moray will help us.
FWIW I think I am buying more brushes with the bristles. The black ones with the plastic spread out spines I don't think sound as good. Its sooo hard to be remotely scientific but I think my digital reclocker sounded better on the roller balls. Or maybe my Headphone amp did. Anyhow I will be ordering more brushes.
