Okay. Just installed the LM4562. One as input buffer, two at the high pass outputs, the low pass outputs are still using opa2134.
I've only listened to a few tracks at moderate volume and they are of course not burned in yet, but I can hear a very different sound from a full OPA2134 configuration.
Everything seems to be much more transparent and pure, midrnge seems more forward - but not too much, treble seems well integrated. Therés a sort of "easyness" and liquidity to the sound that's really nice. OPA2134 treble seems splashy and ill-defined in comparison.
All in all I cannot hear anything that could make me believe they are oscillating.
HOWEVER, they run hotter than OPA2134 in the same circuit. I don't know whether this is normal or not :/ i don't know if different op amps can have different temperature in the same utilisation? Is it a bad sign? Maybe I should check my CD player to see if there, they are running hot too...
