Silly Q re: insulating binding posts from metal case

I'm putting together a little amp with some pre-made board and stuff. I see that the binding posts that I bought are insulated on the outside but there is no insulating sleeve that goes over the threaded rod that goes into the case. What do you usually use to insulate the posts from shorting each other via the metal case? A tiny piece of heart shrink tubing? I imagine that it needs to be big enough to avoid a short but small enough not to obstruct the nut from tightening. Any better idea?

Thanks.
