First some input: The D130 is a wide range speaker, meaning it excels in the mid range while not so strong on the bottom end and fading on top. Exactly why they make excellent guitar speakers. However JBL made many good speakers combing them with their tweeters in the 50s and 60s. I believe the C-36 and C-38 combined them with 075 bullit tweeter. If your box dimensions are appropriate all you need do is find a schematic for a crossover.
Secondly: I can give some input to the acoustic damping material from personal experience. There is no definite answer. It's a try and listen ordeal. There are several things you could use from fiberglass insulation to mineral wool to rubber ized foam to a dedicated acoustic batting. Your best bet is to try the hi-eff Asylum. You'll get many ideas to consider.
