Notice the brass ears on the HBL vs. the nickel-plating ears on the cheaper outlet. Big difference in sound between the two.
The two duplex receptacles are no where in the same league.
The back strap on the cheap pro line is made from galvanized steel.
Look at the cheap plastic face plate and the cheap 6/32 tapped steel plate for the duplex cover plate 6/32 screw support.
Then look at the other Hubbell duplex receptacle. Note the brass center tapped 6/32 hub for supporting the duplex cover plate. Back in the old days when using a steel raised duplex cover plate the center 6/32 hub was the only support that was used to hold the duplex in place.
