Also - since my system is all-tube (vintage Mcintosh C22 and 225, ARC phono + vinyl) I'd like to have a switch to turn it all on at once. Are there any audiophile-approved switches available for this?Bad idea.
Audio equipment should be powered up and down per the manufacturer's specs/procedure.
Especially tube equipment.
