Blackgate break-in again?

Here is the situation. I have had some Blackgate STD capacitors in one of my sources for quite a few years, so I know that they are fully broken in( they are notorious for taking from 200-500 hours to fully break in, depending on their location). I was thinking of experimenting with a different electrolytic in place of a few Blackgates. My question is if I try out the new caps and they don't sound as good as the Blackgate and I put the Blackgates back in, will the Blackgates need to go through the long break in period like they did when they were new? Thanks.
