I have modified this unit replacing the power supply caps with blackgates, diodes to FRED's, better wire, replaced 2 7805's with discrete regulators, changed some of the analog filters to bg-nx caps. May want to try removing filters. Also damped and shielded unit. Ran with their external toroid-removing the steel out of the transformer for more open sound. can not do much to this dac-there is NO ROOM. Not tweaker friendly.HAVE FUN
