Today I had the opportunity to compare the Synergistic Research fuse to a Furotech fuse in my Marantz SA11-S2 (SA-CD) player. The SR fuse brought out additional detail- better imaging, more timbre to the instruments, more emotion to the music. I did not notice a difference in direction when installing the Synergistic fuse or the Furotech fuse. The Synergistic Research fuse simply allowed the music to sound better immediately upon installation. I think this is a very cost effective upgrade to amps and CD players.
In summary- Synergistic Research> Furotech> Isoclean> Stock Fuse.
