RE: Help what is a D1913 Chip?

This is in an old Yamaha CDX-480. Everything in it is as cheap as possible. I got it out of closet and just started fooling around with old parts I had from other projects. Shockingly it stared sounding pretty good. Thats a very relative "pretty good". Still sounds a little smeared. I replaced all the diodes and thought some better voltage regulation would help. I don't see a voltage regulator and thought well maybe thats what the 1913 chip was.

It's not a big deal but I just wanted to see how far I could take this cheap old CD player. I guess I have too much time on my hands. :)
