I want to bore a CLEAN hole of around 7 mm diameter and 2 cm deep in a sorbothane puck. Certainly an ordinary drill does not deliver. Any suggestion? Waterjet? Lasercut? But I suspect lasercut will leave a hardened scar which I don't want.
