I've used Herbie's products in several places of my audio system; lately, between the bottom of my floorstanding speakers and a MDF platform spiked to the floor (through thick carpet).
My idea for an equipment rack I'm building is to use Herbie's Giant Fat Gliders under the legs of the rack. The shelves, which may be constrained layer, will sit on Sylomer (a world-scale vibration damping material) pads thus isolating the shelves from the rack.
