I see both of these chokes have been used.
Is there any reason to use the larger M?
I have a few 193Q's laying about unused. Any reason to not use these? How tuned is this circuit? The Q!'s are slightly less resistive than the L and a bit more than that than the M's, will this matter much?
(193L - 57 ohms/193M - 63 ohms/193Q 53 ohms, L is 5 H and M & Q are 10H, put that in for those who are in about the same position as myself on this subject)
Also, I have used these things for various projects over the years and have no idea which was the longer lead. I guess one can try both and see which one sounds best or is it really that important?
Any help would be appreciated.
THANKS,
Rick McInnis
