When I used it plugged into the second duplex (the first being used for an APC S15 UPS/PLC feeding a Sony Bravia LCD and DVD), the video improvement was quite noticable with more uniform color saturation and better image delineation.
I'm now using it in my audio system with similar results as you noted, but have to comment that the improvement on video were greater than that on my audio system.
